Welcome - Nau Mai Haere Mai

Got a question? Got an answer?

This wiki is designed for New Zealand cataloguers contributing catalogue records to the National Union Catalogue (NUC).

The aim of this wiki is to provide guidance on ways to create good catalogue records that meet cataloguing standards. This creates consistency in library catalogues and therefore benefits its users. It also helps the accurate matching of catalogue records on the NUC to reduce duplication.

Tip of the week: check out our new "Got a question? Got an answer?" page. We hope it will prove to be a valuable tool for your questions, answers and discussions.
